For our first mini-vacation together my boyfriend John and I took a trip to New York City to see the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center. It was truly amazing! This was my first trip to the city and both of our first time seeing the tree! Words cannot describe how amazing this tree was. We saw the tree Friday night, Times Square at night, an awesome Yankees store, and then finished the night taking a horse drawn carriage ride in Central Park. Saturday we went up the Empire State Building, saw the tree again, the World Trade Center Site, more of Central Park, Times Square, and lots of pizza! Sunday we finished our trip with a ferry ride out to the Statue of Liberty. The whole weekend his friend Mike played tourguide/photographer for us which was very awesome of him! I think the thing I miss most about New York City is their pizza and the fact that you can get it at 2 a.m.! John and I have decided to make this trip an annual tradition...hopefully the first of many traditions we will have...thanks honey for an awesome trip! I can't wait to repeat it with you in April for your birthday!!!
