My father and I visited the great city of Philadelphia on October 1st of 2005. We began our journey at 9:00am, arriving in Philly at 11:30. We had no idea where we were going, where to park, or even where to start! There were so many things to do and see there, we just wanted to take in as much as we could. We began by purching a bus tour pass. We then wandered over to the Christ Church Burial ground were Benjamin Franklin and 4 other signers of the Declaration of Independence are buried. After that we wandered over to the Post Office Museum -- small but interesting. Then it was our time to go and see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. After passing through security we made our way to the Liberty Bell. Definitely more awesome in person than in pictures. We wandered over to Independence Hall, where the signing of the Declaration of Indepence took place. After our tour of Independence Hall, we got on our tour bus and took the 90 minute tour of Philadelphia! We saw great places like Chinatown (the 3rd largest in the US behind New York City and San Francisco -- wow I did retain something I learned on that tour!), Love Park, 6 weddings, a lot of museums, and Betsy Ross' House.
